Here's USA Fluid Brand Going to work on the Porsche 356 door restoration.

Here we will see the following things happening:

• Grinding with USA Fluid on the metal. This provides a better grind and smoother surface for the weld and extends abrasive wheel life.
• Welding over the USA Fluid treated Metal for a smoother weld and less slag, buildup and splatter.
• Applying USA Fluid penetrating oil over the weld where it will penetrate the coating, enabling easy brushing away of the smokey coating from welding the sections together.
• Grinding the weld smooth to complete the joint surface on the door.
• Leaving a Safe Preservative Coating over the area which will remain for years. This prevention measure will total halt rust and corrosion formation. This USA Fluid Treatment leaves a safe paint ready surface which will increase adhesion when it receives the paint in the future when this restoration project is finally ready for painting.

Here the area is ground after USA Fluid is applied to the metal surfaces prior to welding.

Here's the metal seam right after the welding is completed.

USA Fluid Conditioning Fluid is applied again to the surface over the welded area.

The area is brushed with a small wire brush to remove the smoke staining from the surface of the metal and leave a long term preservative coating.

The area is now wiped down and all the staining and smoke buildup off the weld is completely removed leaving a pristine metal surface which will not corrode as time goes on.

Additional grinding to even out the welded surface is performed using the high speed grinder.

The surface is now cleaned and the next panel piece is clamped into place for finishing this area of the door.
